Here's some help for you if you're having trouble with your blackjack play: Certified Master Hypnotist, Don "The Dragon" Ling, has created a self-hypnosis tape that you listen to 20 minutes every day for three weeks. Apparently, he instructs you when to hit, stand, double down, etc. Maybe it's just me, but I don't know if I want "The Dragon" programming me. What if you don't play the same way he does? Like, how about if you have a soft 17 and you want to stand -- but "The Dragon" says to double down? It might get ugly.

Today, Nita Colla of San Francisco claimed the largest jackpot ever awarded to an individual by the California lottery -- $88 million. Mrs. Colla elected to take the winnings in one lump sum, which amounts to a staggering $42,898,388 before taxes.
Publishers Clearing House has reached a comprehensive agreement with 23 state Attorneys Gereral, resolving disputes over the company's misleading promotions. Keeping in mind that the linked story is a press release published by PCH, you'll have to take their positive spin with a grain of salt.

As a side note, it seems that all of these winners I read about find out that they're winners by going back to the store, or by reading a newspaper, etc. I'm still waiting for the first story that quotes the winner saying that he found the winning numbers on the internet at BigGamelottery.com!
