N.J. Lottery host Hela Young dies. We are saddened to report tonight that Hela Young, a television hostess for New Jersey Lottery and a former Miss New Jersey, died today after a long illness. She is survived by her husband and 10-year-old daughter. Young gave the nightly lottery drawings for 24 years, but stopped in November because of her undisclosed illness, her husband Peter Hochman said.
