Violet Butler of Cochran, Georgia correctly selected the numbers in the October 13 drawing and won the $11 million jackpot. Ms. Butler chose the cash option and received $5,768,590 before taxes.Judge rejects lawsuit to repeal Oregon state lottery. Judge Paul Lipscomb rejected a lawsuit to throw out the 1984 ballot measure that created the state's lottery, ruling that the challenge was filed too late to be valid.
