 – When people think of a lottery jackpot, they usually think of all they could do with the newfound wealth.  Although it's not lottery-related, the recently announced Forbes List of Billionaires is a humbling picture of truly enormous wealth.  One thing I found interesting: you'll notice Bill Gates and Paul Allen, co-founders of Microsoft, at #1 and #4, but catching up is Steve Ballmer, new CEO of Microsoft, at #21.

 – This was a statistically interesting drawing: not only was there a rare three consecutive numbers, but it's also the third week in a row with consecutive numbers.  But the Statistics page shows that four of the first five numbers were among the top-drawn numbers.
There was no jackpot winner.  You can find the number of other prize winners on the Winning Combinations page.

 – Yahoo! is carrying a news release about the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act, H.R. 3125 which would make it illegal for individuals to place a bet over the Internet.  Sounds to me like another example of trying to regulate the internet - which is always dangerous since it surely wouldn't stop there.
 – There was no jackpot winner in the Tuesday drawing, so the jackpot is now up to $46 million.  Check out the Winning Combinations page to see how many people won each of the other prizes.
A lot fewer people won a prize this week, probably because many people use birthdays and other dates to pick their numbers.  (Four out of the six numbers were greater than 31 in this drawing.)  Maybe they should've used a sampling of the top-drawn numbers on our Stats page.

 – There was no jackpot winner in Friday's drawing, so Tuesday's jackpot climbs to $38 million.  Check out the Winning Combinations page to see how many people won each of the other prizes.

 – We're pleased to announce our latest feature: Lottery Post.  Lottery Post is a message board dedicated to lottery discussions, issues, and questions.  We've found few places on the web where lottery players could connect in a forum that is not intended to build a paid membership or throw a ton of ads at you.  We hope you'll find our forum different: simple, easy, and useful.  To get there, go to www.LotteryPost.com.  See you on the 'Post!
The Winning Combinations page has been updated with the total numbers of winners in each prize category, and there was no jackpot winner.
