  • 12:20 pmTexas Lottery audits find more problems.  Months after Texas Lottery officials were chastised for inflating Texas Lotto jackpot estimates in a scandal that cost the executive director his job, the agency did it again at least three more times, according to one of two highly critical state auditor reports on the lottery released Tuesday.
  • 12:00 pmLottery, casino shutdown cost N.J. millions.  Shutting down government cost New Jersey millions in lost casino tax and lottery revenue and took a toll on privately owned businesses. Rubbing salt in the wounds of residents, the sales tax was raised from 6 percent to 7 percent.
